Fight Simulation/Street Sparring occurs in the 30-minute sparring class after the Master Cycle technique classes and will float to a different day each month so that everyone can have a chance to participate. The first and third weeks of the month are fight simulation classes. The second and third weeks of the month are street sparring classes.

No-gi Attire: Please wear a Gracie Jiu-Jitsu rashguard along with white gi pants/belt or Gracie fight shorts with spats. No other t-shirts, rashguards, or shorts allowed. Please wear your jiu-jitsu belt in nogi classes if not wearing a rank rashguard that shows your rank.

Street Sparring: All students must have open-finger Gracie Sparring Gloves (5.5oz) and a mouth guard to participate in Street Sparring sessions.

Fight Simulation: Fight Simulation Class is the most important class for promotion consideration. All participants must have Gracie 18oz. fight simulation gloves and a mouth guard to participate.

Master Cycle Stripe Promotions: Master Cycle stripe promotion consideration is based on at least eight months of regular attendance and a minimum of 100 classes (including 10 Reflex Development classes and 10 Fight Simulation classes). Please keep in mind that these are minimum attendance requirements and do not guarantee promotion.
